The objective and intent of the Glen Echo Community Club (which was formed in 1943) shall be- To keep the Glen Echo school building intact in the community,
- That it may serve as a meeting place for the people of the community:
- That it will preserve old friendships and foster new ones:
- That it will promote unity and harmony and exemplify the highest type of American neighborliness.
